I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was fantastic, especially for watching the lantern festival, and my room had a lovely view of the Ping River. However, the service could definitely improve, as some staff members were quite grumpy and it felt like the hotel was stuck in the past. For the price I paid, I don't think it provided the best value.
Rooms
6.0
The room was larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. It had a table and two armchairs in a bay window with views of the Ping River. However, it did feel quite dated and not worth the 940 baht a night.
Service
5.0
The service was hit or miss. While some staff were polite and attentive, others seemed generally grumpy and not very welcoming. For the price paid, I expected a bit more friendliness.
Location
9.0
The location was a highlight for me. It was great for watching the lantern festival from my window, and I was only a short walk away from markets, restaurants, and bars.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were serviceable but not impressive. Breakfast was mostly Asian dishes, with limited options like toast and scrambled eggs. It felt a bit cheap and underwhelming.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities didn't stand out much to me. The overall vibe of the hotel felt quite old, and I was hoping for a more modern atmosphere.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was fantastic, especially for watching the lantern festival, but the rooms were a bit old and not made up until late in the afternoon. The service had its highs and lows, with some staff being genuinely kind while others seemed untrained. Overall, I appreciated the value for money given the location, but I wish the dining options had been better.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was fantastic, close to markets, restaurants, and the US Embassy. However, the room was not in great condition with unmade beds and trash not emptied. On the plus side, the price was decent, but the value could have been better with improved service and room maintenance.

I loved the location of this hotel, just a short walk from all the markets and right by the river, making it perfect for sightseeing. The rooms, however, felt a bit dated and damp, which was disappointing for the price. The service could be improved, as some of the staff seemed a bit grumpy. Overall, it's good for the location, but the value for money wasn't quite what I expected.
